Bath
My little James is developing quite the personality lately. He will do this thing where he says:

He is so funny....I tried to get some cute video of him in the bath but he was too distracted by his favorite big brother:)

Happy Birthday Gigi!!
This past weekend we went to dinner to celebrate Gigi's birthday. We went to one of our favorite restaurants and then went back to my house and folded laundry. Wow! We know how to have fun;)

I have both Taylor Swift CD's in my car since I am slowly losing control of the music choices in the car. Have you heard this song? I listen to it all the time.

Adorable, right?
Well let me tell you about some of his new tricks. He can take one arm out of his pj shirt at night and then call "Maaaaammmmmmmaaaaaaaaaa! Hellllpppppp peeeessssseeee Maaaaammmmmaaaaaaa". I go in, fix his shirt and then repeat.
Adorable, no?
He also can unlock. Unlock the garage door, unlock the front door, unlock...not to be confused with 'lockdown'.

He also pulls the dogs and cats tails, climbs on furniture, dumps out the entire car box, throws giant firetrucks and pulls Stella's hair.

New Camera
Tony bought me a new camera for Christmas. Today the twins were back in school and so James and I headed out to the science center and I took a couple pictures.

2010 Review
1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before?
I left the baby. Well, he is not a baby anymore but I left all three kiddos for the first time in 2010.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I did not make any in 2010 but I am making some for 2011.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes!! We had two speechies at work give birth:)
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes. My grandmother, my husband’s grandfather and my father in law.
5. What countries did you visit?
None.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
I would like to have more ‘me’ time. Amanda writes about it beautifully here. I want to get back to me.
7. What dates from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July 21, 2010. My father in law died suddenly and we are still feeling the ripple effect.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not going insane? No really…probably just being very present with my children. There has been a lot of chaos and stress and I think I have kept things very ‘normal’ and fun for the kiddos.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Losing the ‘back to me’ attitude. I wanted to focus on me and make improvements but that never happened. I put many others ahead of me.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not really….a cold here or there. Nothing major.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A car. I bought my Ford Escape from my parents neighbor in cash. No car payments makes me very, very, very happy!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My parents. They have come and visited or taken the kiddos monthly. And in the last six weeks when I thought I was going to lose my mind, they really have supported me.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Many people…none of which I can write about here.
14. Where did most of your money go?
House, groceries, nanny, etc.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My friend Erin’s photography business. She is an amazing photography and I am so happy that she is doing well!!
16. What song will always remind you of 2010?

a) happier or sadder?

No. I am already in love and that love was tested.

I do not hate anyone.

Well, I just got a Nook for Christmas and the only book I read was Goodnight Nobody.

A completed family.

I loved The Hangover, Marley and Me…wait, were those 2010 movies? Well I watched them in 2010.

I turned 37! Wow! I spent it with my family:)
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
To have my husband figure a couple things out that he needs to. I think a marriage is easier when you both are in a good place personally.
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Fashion concept? Hahahahahahahahaha….I usually go for clean clothes. Clean.
32. What kept you sane?
My meds.
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Michelle Obama

35. Who did you miss?
My sisters. I miss them so much and we always have such a good time. They are amazing aunts to my children and I can’t wait to see them soon!!!!

Cousins
Here are two pictures from a recent play date with some of my cousins and their children. It is crazy that there are SEVEN children in this picture under the age of SIX and two kiddos are missing (we missed you Slim;)!! All of us live close enough where we are going to try to get together with the kiddos more often.
Such fun;)
