Happy Halloween! We had a busy day!! We started by carving our pumpkins. This was mine:

Pumpkin Day!

On Thursday morning, I was able to volunteer in Stella's classroom. All of first grade had a fun pumpkin carving day! If you are wondering why I was not in Thomas' classroom....well, I was not invited...but that is a whole other post.

It was so fun. I had a group of four and we had to estimate, weight, measure and then carve! Guess who volunteered to get all the insides out of the pumpkin? Yep, my bunny.

I did pull Thomas in for lunch so we could all eat together:) It was a fun day!

Pumpkin Patch

Last night the twins stayed up to watch The Boy who Cried Werewolf and it was a bit creepy. When I went up to bed, I checked on the twins and found them snuggled up in the same bed. Cute! They have such a close bond!

I have to say that getting three kiddos to look and smile at the same time is next to impossible. This was the best I could do.

As I was looking at this years pumpkin patch pictures, I can not help but notice how much the twins have changed! I swear, this year they have grown a foot and they just look older.

Family Pictures

I know I have mentioned it before, but my sisters were recently in town (and I miss them terribly!!!). One of the things we wanted to do while they were here is get 'sister pictures' done. I asked Erin Miller of Erin Miller Photography if she could take some sister shots....She makes me call her by her full name now that she is a famous photographer:)

She said yes!

And then I asked if she could get some shots of the kids with their aunts?

She said sure!

And then I asked if she could get a shot of the kiddos that I could use on a Christmas card?

She said she would try!

And then I asked her if I could jump in some shots with the kids?

She said I should!

And then I said if Tony picks us up, can we get an entire family shot?

She did all that! And more...she captured such great pictures!! I love, love, love them. You must check them out here!!

Diorama

The kids had their first big project to turn in. Diorama's!! They had to pick a habitat and create a diorama with plants and animals in it.

Last of the Disney Pictures

Since I did not take any pictures when my sisters were here, I have been stealing the Disney pictures from their facebook pages. Here are the last bunch of our Disney trip:)

I think we are all feeling a bit blue after Aunt Erin and Aunt Megan left. I loved having my sisters here. This is such a fun time in our lives. They have grown into amazing, intelligent, compassionate, kind and thoughtful women and they make such an effort to be a part of my life and their niece and nephews lives. I feel so filled up after spending time with my sisters and I was sad to see them go:(

One of the things we did when they were here was go to Disney! Such fun!!


The beginning of the day! We were ready!! First stop once we got in the park....matching Mickey Tees:)

Stella loves, loves, loves having her aunts spoil her.


And there was plenty of spoiling taking place. Aunt Megan bought the kiddos ears with their names on the back. The kids could pick out the hat, then pick out the ears and any patches too.


James went with the basic ears.


Stella went pink and furry (of course!!) with a sparkly Micky patch on the front.


Thomas went with these cool 3D ears!!

There was also a cool Buzz Light Year for James, Cinderella accessories for Stella and the coolest Pirates of the Caribbean pirate ship for Thomas from Aunt Erin. Phew!! That is a lot of spoiling!!

The twins went on SPACE MOUNTAIN!! Can you believe it?? I am scared of Space Mountain.

Last time, James wanted NO part of meeting Mickey so he was still apprehensive.


Aunt Erin and Aunt Megan were psyching him up to meet the mouse!
