We had a leak in the pipes leading to our other house...because it was THAT kind of week before Christmas. But instead of stressing, I left the repairs to Tony and took some pictures of the kids in front of the beautiful poinsettia. I took some last year and you'll see how much the plant has grown as well as the kiddos!

Nine Months Old

My sweet baby James is nine months old today. He has been out as long as he was in. At nine months he is growing braver each and every day. He wants to stand! and climb! and walk! but his body is not coordinated enough. So we have a scratch on one side of his head and a bruise on the other.

At nine months I would still describe you as study people before you will smile. You are silly once you warm up and then you turn into quite the flirt! You are a daddy's boy and Thomas and Stella still can always make you laugh but it is my heart that you have.

I have been teased about not letting James spend the night with Papa and Gigi, about how fiercely I say "no way!". But the truth is, I longed for another baby for such a period of time, I do not want James gone for even a night. I know I will have to let you go and experience the joy of spending the night at your grandparents house but for now, I keep you close. Close to my heart.

I love you my sweet Jo Jo!

Christmas Morning

First some pictures of their matching pj's (an early Christmas gift from Grandma Stella and Grandpa Kerry)! Cute! Cute!

Then, let the chaos begin!

James was unimpressed with it all. He loves his new table but he loved all the family that was around more!!

Also, on Christmas eve, James stood unassisted for at least three to four seconds. I think every single one of us just stared.

We had a magical Christmas. The kids were so happy (and spoiled) by our families! There was lots of good food and lots of family around. I am a very lucky girl:-)

Crazy Christmas Lights

We continued our tradition of driving around to look at Christmas lights this year. We always stop to get hot chocolate and then we drive around. There is one house that we go to every year and this was no exception. Check out our pictures from last year here.

James loved it so much that lights sprouted out of his head!

I asked my friend Erin to take some pictures of the kiddos. The pictures she has taken of her children are gorgeous and I wanted to make some Christmas gifts. She let me have a sneak peak and they turned out amazing!

Car Show

Tony took Thomas to the car show at the convention center this past Sunday. I think they were both picking out their Christmas presents!
