Eight Months Old

Eight months?? Do not even get me started! It is almost December and then James will be nine months. Then, January is right around the corner and he will be (gasp!) ten months. Ten months makes me cry because eleven and then (no no no!) twelve months!

My Jo Jo Monkey Butt has burst into his eight month of life. He can not be bothered with such simple tasks as drinking a bottle. Oh no! There are things to be looked at, items to put in his mouth and (I need to sit down for this one) furniture to pull himself up on!!! Helllooooo? Eight months! Our Aunt Lynn called him her nibblet but now is he is a nibblet moose! He went from sitting upright, to crawling to pulling up in a week and a half!!

James, you continue to bring such joy into our lives. Yesterday everyone said, "What a good baby! Is he always this happy? " Yes:) You are always that happy. I really noticed what a little socialite you were at Thanksgiving yesterday. You loved the kids running around and the new faces that ooohed and ahhhed over you. You ate it all up....and some turkey too!

Mover and a Shaker

This pictures sums up James at this moment in time. He wants...He wants my glasses, my phone, the remote. He wants what we are eating, what the twins are playing with and he wants any part on one of the cats or dogs. He has had this sudden burst in mobility. He scoots. He crawls. He sits up. So much is happening this month with him, I just want it all to slow down:-)

My Cup Runneth Over

Every year I name my birthday post the same thing, "My Cup Runneth Over". That is the only title I can think to explain how I feel every year on my birthday. This year I turned 36 years and I have never felt better. I am so comfortable in my own skin.I have three beautiful children and a husband that works equally hard at our marriage. I could not ask for more.

So while my head often feels like this:



There is so much laughter, beauty, and sweetness in the chaos...I could not ask for more.
