Happy Birthday to the best Daddy these kids could ask for!

He's Got Game

It was so chilly on Saturday morning but Thomas still loves going to football. It doesn't hurt that Papa drove over to watch either. Stella has dance at the same time so I have yet to watch a football game but the report from Tony and Papa is that Thomas is quick and is learning more and more about the game each week.

Patriots Parade

The kids have been learning all about Presidents this week at school and Wednesday the kids had a Patriots Parade at school.

I think we are pretty set on the first name James but we can not agree on a middle name. The name Francis is so important to me and I really, really, really want it as a middle name...but Tony is not on board yet. We'll see.

Will You Be Mine?

Today is the kids Valentine's Day party at school.



Stella has about five boys that she is considering to be her Valentine. The front runner is Jamison, "because he is in kindergarten and does not have to take a nap."



Thomas is content to have his mama be his Valentine. Hopefully that will be the case for the next thirty years:-)

Room for a Princess

We have let the kids pick out their own paint for their rooms and Stella had her heart set on a "princess pink"....which Tony and I call "pepto pink". Papa brought over the furniture yesterday and I hung the rest of the pictures and her curtains (which she picked out to). Needless to say, Stella loves her princess room!!!

Home

We are still getting settled in our new house. I underestimated how long it would take us to actually get settled.

There has been a lot of digging through bags and boxes.



Some have worked harder than others:-)



But we are beginning to see some rooms take shape.





The biggest change is now Thomas and Stella are in seperate bedrooms! How are they adjusting? I would say just fine....the first thing on their doors was a "No Boys" and "No Girls" sign:-)





I am still without internet but hopefully this week....

We've Moved!

We did it!! We have all of our belongings in our new house. I will post some pictures as soon as I can 1. find the camera and 2. get internet access.

My sister Megan was down from New York all weekend helping and we worked hard to set up the bedrooms and kitchen. Can I tell you how much I love my kitchen?? The space is amazing!! Remember I am coming from a 750 square foot house to one that is three times the size!! I love feeling organized and not cramped.

The one thing I have noticed that I do not love, is that our family can spread out a bit. In our old house we were always in the same room...very close. Now, I will be upstairs and I can go awhile without seeing Tony....weird.

The twins are loving their new rooms. Stella quickly made a "No Boys" sign and taped it to her door. LOL...at four?? Thomas had some trouble sleeping at first but last night he slept through the night. The night before, he told me that he "could remember that we moved" and he wanted "to feel comfy in his bed". I told him that this house would begin to feel like our home soon...we are getting there.
