Down on the Farm

Papa came over today to paint, paint, paint with Tony and my job was to keep the kids out of their hair. So I decided to take them to the Green Meadows Petting Farm.

They started by milking a cow.

Thomas kept saying he was milking the cow's penis. Thank goodness my friend Lynn came with us to explain the difference.

They held baby chicks.

They caught ducks and chickens!

They had pony rides, a train ride and a hay ride. They had a blast. Even Lynn, who was very skeptical about going to a farm, thought it was fun:-)

I wanted to get some pictures of the twins before we left for our Thanksgiving dinner....

...but a headlock is not what I had in mind.

Too sunny!

We all had such a nice time today and we are all stuffed:-)I am not sure if Don and Donna's swing will ever be the same. Thomas and Stella could not keep their hands off of it.

Happy Thanksgiving!

All I Want for Christmas...

...are these two plus a baby boy:-)

We went to see Santa yesterday. Thomas really wanted to make sure that Santa knows he wants Ultimate Stunt World. All we have heard about is Ultimate Stunt World. I think Santa gets the picture that Thomas really wants Ultimate Stunt World.

Stella asked for a "princess head". I think she means something like this. When we were walking away, Stella said to me, "Mama...I don't think that was the real Santa." I asked why and she answered, "I think the real Santa would be too busy. I think that is just a man in a red suit." I thought to myself...oh my goodness, we only a year or so until she figures this out!

No really, I have lost my mind

I recently posted about my pregnancy brain and I meant it. I still can not find our camera. The twins visited pictures. We had some other things going pictures. I am terrible!! This poor new baby. I have photo albums upon photo albums for the twins and I am afraid that I will have a picture or two of the new baby.

The good news is that on Monday we find out if it a boy or girl. Soooooo, what is your vote??

Pregnancy Brain

IKEA is celebrating one year of being in Orlando, so tonight I took the kids. They had magic shows and face painting too. Stella had her face done like a kitten. I really wish I could show you a picture, but I have misplaced the camera. Let's just add that to the list of items that I have lost in the past five months. My pregnancy brain is making it very difficult for me to remember and hold on to anything. Here is my list of lost items:

1. camera
2. two bible study books
3. the only set of keys that can disarm my car alarm
4. Stella's long sleeve pink dress which she may never forgive me for losing
5. my coupon organizer

Ok, so I have not misplaced any of my children or pets yet but holy cow...I feel like my IQ has dramatically dropped!! Isn't it ironic that when I need to be at my best to get prepared for a new baby coming, I am seriously handicapped when it comes to my thought processes.

My mother has been waiting a long time for grandchildren. Now that she has them, she embraces her role. She loves, loves, loves buying Stella clothes too. Here is a picture from this morning. Stella picked out the jeans that Gigi gave her. Yep, they are turquoise with jewels on the pockets and bottom. Stella took one look at herself and decided that she looked like a 'supermodel'. I agree!!

And just one quick shot of my handsome Thomas too!

My Cup Runneth Over

Today was a big birthday for me. 35. I remember when my mother turned 35. I was in middle school. My kids have not even started school yet. Now I am 35, married and pregnant with my third child. I ask myself, how did I get here?

And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful
And you may ask yourself: Well...How did I get here?
~Talking Heads

Today was perfect. I was driving home from a delicious dinner with my husband and we approached downtown all lit up. I thought to myself, I have everything I have ever wanted.

These are the moments I thank God that I'm alive
These are the moments I'll remember all my life
I've found all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more.
~Sara Evans

I do not have every material possession but I do not want for anything. I feel so content.

My cup runneth over.

Celebratory Dinner

We went to dinner with Papa and Gigi this past Saturday night. We had plenty to celebrate...Tony's graduation and my upcoming birthday.

We had so much fun!

On a different note, I found Stella's Christmas outfit. Here is the skirt...she has begged to wear it to school every day. Isn't it cute?
