Weekend Fun

We had such a busy and fun weekend. We went to the Central Florida Fair on Friday, the sprinkler park on Saturday and spent Sunday at Lynn's pool.

There were plenty of rides at the fair.

The boats may have been their favorite ride.

Of course we had to check out the animals.

Lynn took Stella on a pony ride:-) Doesn't she look thrilled?? Haha!

Saturday, I took the kids to play at the sprinkler park. The weather was perfect and they had a blast!

I didn't take any pictures at the pool today only because I did not have a free hand! They wanted to jump and kick and swim. So busy and yet still not asleep right now. Hmmmmm....

Cat Question

Ok, so I am very new at this cat thing so I need to know...is this normal?

I mean, can a cat breed with a vampire??

The other two do not have teeth like this. Is this normal for cats to have teeth like this??

The Shape of Things to Come

Wow! Lost is back tonight and what an episode it was. Some questions were answered and then some others were raised. We have some insight regarding why/how Sayid ends up 'working' for Ben....and Ben. I do not even know what to say about Ben. I mean, Alex is dead. I still can not believe that he would let that happen. Ben ends up in the desert. Obvious teleportation. He was cold and wearing a jacket. Wasn’t that ice on his sleeve? I predict when Ben says he has another name for Sayid…Penny.

I was so scared that Claire was killed too. Thank goodness she was not. However, I sense something coming...Claire and Aaron have to be separated somehow. Aaron gets off the island and Claire does not.

Ok, now the smoke monster. What the heck?? Ben can just call it out when needed?? This is where the show begins to lose me:-)

Our Expanding Wall

We had beautiful pictures taken of the kids on Saturday and we added them to our wall:

Look at the difference:

One year olds!

Eighteen months (this is when the picture thing went down hill. I wish you could really see the look on Stella's face. She was not having it.

Two year olds...again, not having it.

Three year olds...back on track and such 'big kids'.

And finally, four year olds. They really captured their personalities too:-)

Sorry about the quality...I am taking pictures of pictures.

The constant quest for organization

Last week was the kids birthday and our friends and family showered them with attention (and gifts too!). I have been on this constant quest to organize the new toys in our tiny space. Here is the final product...remember my rooms have many purposes; the living room is also the play room too. The kids share a room and there is not much room for toys in their bedroom.

This cute basket (from IKEA!!) now holds all of the dress up clothes and accessories.

New bin from Target to hold all the "big" cars...

Small bin from IKEA holds all the "small" cars...

My cloth bins from Bed, Bath and Beyond holds all the "medium" cars. The good news is, Thomas is now able to keep his cars organized all by himself. He has always been good at cleaning up but he would just throw all the cars together. Once I explained the small, medium and large concepts, he gets it and these have stayed pretty organized!!

One bin for doodle pads of all sizes!

Only one bin of 'random' toys:-)

This is the final product! Not too bad for one half of my living room. See the other half here.

The day that changed everything...

Four years ago tonight I was recovering from surgery. Tony was trying to sleep on a cot next to me and my mom was flying down from New York.

I also had two tiny babies on either side of me.

I had no idea how much my life had just changed. The self indulgent life I had led in my twenties was over. O-V-E-R. However, who knew what would replace it would fill me up with such satisfaction. It is by far the most difficult, complicated and rewarding role I have ever played.

Happy Birthday to the best son and daughter a momma monkey could ever ask for. I love you more than I can put into words.

Don't worry, we let them out for some cake and ice cream!

Twins 4th Birthday Party

We just put the twins down to bed and they are wiped out! Tonight was their birthday party at Kangaroom.

We started the evening by opening some presents that had traveled over from Clearwater.

Thank you Miss Carol, Mr. Bill and Lola!!

We headed over to Kangaroom to set the party room up. The cake turned out better than I expected.

I hope everyone liked their goodie bags:-)

The kids spent a good hour jumping around like crazy. Even the little ones, like Baby Sam loved it.

Then...pizza, juice and cake for everyone. But not before singing "Happy Birthday".

Stella and Thomas had so much fun. I was so lucky that I had such wonderful helpers too.

Stella said her favorite part of the party was playing with Aunt Megan and our cousin Claire. Thomas said his favorite part was playing with all the boys from school.

They were wild!
