Another great episode of LOST was on tonight. I can't help but want more information but I am pleased the writers seem to have a clear direction they are taking us in.
So we now know the team of people from the helicopter are Dan, Miles, Charlotte, Frank the pilot and Naomi (is she really dead???). Naomi works for Matthew Abbadon who was the guy creeping Hurley out in the mental institution. Naomi told the group last season that she was working for Desmond’s girlfriend, Penny, but we now know that is not true. Hmmm, is there a connection to Penny? Probably...this is LOST.
So let me talk myself through this....the helicopter crew’s lands on the island and they want to kill Ben. Six of the survivors get off the island and, in some way, compromise the other survivors. Who wants the Oceanic Six to come back (remember, Hurley says to Jack that "he wants us to come back")?? Is it Jacob or for some reason I am thinking Locke?? I think the Oceanic Six are:
1. Jack
2. Kate
3. Hurley
4. Sun
5. Jin
6. Claire with baby Aaron
**Do you think the funeral guy is Michael? Do you think it is possible that Michael is Ben's guy on the boat?? **
So these six get off the island and then the island explodes and sinks?? Hence the underwater shots of the plane. I actually think those were totally staged by that creepy Matthew guy.
Some random thoughts:
1. Charlotte creeped me out the way she was looking at Claire's baby.
2. There was a cow on the island?
3. There was a polar bear in the desert??
4. Ben is soooo smart and so fun to dislike!
5. Locke seemed interested that Hurley knew where the cabin was.

The cow was at the cabin of the Russian guy with the eye patch in Season 3, maybe there are more or its the same one.
Don't we know that people can't actually see the island? There is something keeping them from seeing it if they aren't on it?
I think the plane crash was staged.. the whole thing about the pilot not having a wedding ring on.
I this Sayid is one of the 6.
Hurley saw the cabin... isn't Jacob the cabin or isn't the cabin where Jacob lives? So, now Locke and Hurley can see the cabin, not just Ben.. this has to scare Ben.
Polar bear AND a Darma initiative symbol in the desert. It was hard to tell if those were flash backs.. all we know is that in several of them they were watching the finding of the wreckage of the plane, but we don't know when the sub found the plane- we know they saw the flash when Charlie turned off the Looking Glass right? But how many days ago was that? Did they have the sub there waiting to go looking?
Thoughts/Questions about lost:
1. A guy that can see and speak to the dead? Where is that going? Does it have something to do with the dharma people that Ben murdered?
2. I do think it must be Michael on the helicopter crew's ship.
3. I still feel like there is no specific Jacob.....but that Jacob embodies the entire Island.
4. Remember that Naomi was speaking Italian and said something to the man with the eye patch. He obviously lied about what she said to the survivors. I have to believe that is some sort of connection. I don't think the man with eye patch is loyal to Ben....at least not fully.
5. Locke killed Naomi but was pissed when Ben attempted to kill Charolotte? No sure what that was about.
6. Not sure what the connection is to the polar bear in the desert and the polar bears on the Island. But we know that the Dharma experiment could have happened in other places around the world. Still a mystery of how it all ties in though.
7. Penny/Penny's father is going to play a imperative roll in all this. I just haven't figured that out yet.
8. I still think it may have been Ben's funeral. Who else could Kate feel so indifferent about?
LOST MAKES ME LOSE THE LITTLE SANITY I CLING TO.
And yet I keep going back, hoping it will change, thinking about what is good savoring every 'Reveal' and ripping my hair out with the hundreds of new questions that get flung out every week.
Dude. It's almost like an abusive relationship that I just cannot walk away from.

Yes...I think the cow means Mikail (sp?) or the eye guy is not far behind. We have not seen the last of him yet.
I have two theories about the plane scene. 1. the Oceanic Six leave the island and the island and anyone left on it is destroyed..then the plane could have sunk. Or 2. it was staged to explain the crash.
I wish Sayid was one just because he is such a hottie but I am not sure. He strikes me as "go save yourselves and leave me here" type of guy.

Yes, that Miles guy is going to play a big role. In the previews for this episode, they said one of the new characters had "super powers" and that worried me but this makes more sense.
I think Penny and her dad, the eye patch guy and Naomi are all connected but my brain can not wrap around it yet.
Do you think Naomi is really dead. Remember when the Jimmy Buffet looking pilot, Frank...said, leave her and I will fly her back. I thought that sounded weird. Maybe she is not really dead??
I know we talked about this...I think it was Michael's funeral and he did something terrible to get Walt off the island...but wait, Walt is still there...and taller!

LOL!! I felt that way during the sucky first half of last season. I was staying only for the kids!! Ha! Thank goodness it is better this season. Still so many questions. It gives me something to perseverate on instead of cleaning my house.
