Happy Memorial Day!

I hope everyone is having a nice long weekend. We had such a low key weekend...it was nice. We are awaiting Papa's visit this week. He is coming over on Wednesday and they (Papa and Tony) are closing in our porch....Yeah!! More room...we really need it. I can not wait!!! We have some music on and the twins have been dancing around the room. Stella is in underwear only (no diapers!!)....we are knee deep in potty training.

The kids are beyond silly right now. Does the warning "someone is going to get hurt..." ever work? Hmmm, I don't think so.

Alligator Pie!

Ok, one more cute video. This is Stella singing "Alligator Pie" ...she just asked Grandma Audrey what her favorite pie was and then sang this:

Have a great weekend!

Beach babies!

I was just going through some old pictures and videos on the computer. I found this short video of the kids last year, right before they turned two. I had to share it because they are soooo cute....you have to watch the two of them just walking around in the water. Sooooo cute:

American Idol

We are getting ready to find out who wins American Idol, or 'the singing show' as the kids call it. Tony is cooking dinner...yum! Stella is outside 'reading'

and Thomas is making lines of cars and then moving them to make more lines of cars.

All is well:-)

Water Play!

What a fun last day of school!! The kids had so much fun playing in the pool and with the sprinkler.

I also got these really cute pics of Stella and Jonathan (this will be so cute to show them when they both are older):

And some of Thomas with his buddies, Charlie and Hunter:

The kids had so much fun in the pool:

Then, one of the kids figured out how to fold the hose and make the sprinkler stop and then let it go (thanks Daddy!!) and the game was on!!

I don't think the kids understood that it was their last day...we'll see next week when we do not go to school.

Schools out for summer!

Tomorrow is the kids last day of school. This year has gone by so quickly. I was so nervous to send them to a half day two-day-a-week program and now I am so glad I did. Stella has turned in to such a teacher. She has always loved her books, but now when she is reading them, she will pause and turn the book for her 'class' to see. Thomas is able to sit through an entire circle time and loves to paint and do art projects. They both made such good friends too. Stella's best friend is Jonathan and we are lucky enough that we will get to see him this summer. Thomas' buddies are Charlie and Hunter. Our school experience has been so wonderful!! I know the kids will miss going each week. This was Thomas on the his first day last year:

And this was Stella:

Not much has changed...Stella still makes sure everyone knows she is doing something before she does it and Thomas hangs back and tests the water. I hope they always love school this much!

Cypress Gardens

We went to Cypress Gardens today and the kids seemed more interested in the flowers than the roller coasters (can you tell they have Tony's genes?) We took some great shots with our new camera:

We also saw the butterflies and one landed on Tony's finger:

The kids were thrilled! We also were able to see the baby wallaby. We have been watching her grow for a couple months now. She was 9 months old today and she was hopping all over the place!

We had such a fun day and this was our view on the way home:-)
