Two people honestly asked me if she was taking dance lessons. Oh no, that is not a dance costume, that is what she wears to church. There is this wonderful mom there who I always talk to and she gave me some good advice;-)

Stella is so beautiful no matter what she is wearing! I am so glad you allow her to express her autonomy through her clothing. Perhaps in time she will appreciate society's dictation of appropriate wear but then she may not want to express herself with such delight!

i know sequins are not exactly church attire (well, depending on where you live) but as long as all the major stuff is covered, it's okay.
baby bliss is 10 now and i cringe when i see some of the get ups she wants to wear outta here. but as long as it's not too tight, too short, or otherwise too revealing, i'm learning to let her express herself.
now the hair thing is a tale of woe for another day. :-)
